Flapjack breakfast to benefit Cameron Community Ministries

Pancakes, eggs, and a good cause will bring the community together later this month in Lyell-Otis.

Cameron Community Ministries will host its monthly Flapjack Benefit Breakfast on Feb. 21 from 8 to 10 a.m., with proceeds supporting the organization’s outreach work in the neighborhood and surrounding areas.

The breakfast will feature pancakes with pure maple syrup, scrambled eggs, sausage, blueberry topping, whipped cream, and coffee. Organizers say the meal also offers time for fellowship and connection.

The cost is $10 per person, with a reduced $5 price for children. Sugar-free syrup will be available, and the event is handicap accessible.

Cameron Community Ministries describes itself as an urban outreach center dedicated to serving the Lyell-Otis neighborhood community and nearby areas with empathy, compassion, and love. The organization encourages attendees to bring their sweetheart, along with family and friends, to enjoy the morning together while supporting its mission.
