Police arrested a man after officers executed an arrest warrant tied to a stolen bicycle case in Waterloo.
Jonathan T. Bey, 20, of Buffalo, was arrested around 4:50 p.m. on February 4 on a warrant charging criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree, according to the Waterloo Police Department.
The charge stems from an incident on September 3, 2024. Police allege Bey possessed a stolen bicycle during that incident.
At the time of the arrest, Bey was already serving time in state prison on unrelated convictions. The New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision transported him to Waterloo to face the charge.
Police said Bey was arraigned in Waterloo Town Court. After the arraignment, NYSDOCCS returned him to state prison.
