Deputies arrested a Town of Rose man following a reported domestic incident that unfolded early Tuesday morning.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said the incident happened Feb. 4 in the Town of Rose and led to a criminal investigation by deputies.
Deputies identified the suspect as Albert Clingerman Jr., 52, of Brick Schoolhouse Road. Investigators allege that during a domestic dispute, Clingerman threw chlorinated bleach on the victim and then shoved the victim out of the residence.
As a result of the incident, deputies charged Clingerman with criminal mischief in the fourth degree and harassment in the second degree.
Authorities said Clingerman was taken into custody and transported to the Wayne County Jail, where he was held pending CAP Court.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation was handled by Deputy L. Osipovitch.
