A damage complaint at Clifton Springs Hospital led to an arrest following a weeks-long investigation.
Ontario County Sheriff’s investigators arrested a Clifton Springs man Monday afternoon in connection with a vehicle damage incident at the hospital.
Deputies arrested Anthony M. Morales, 19, around 3:28 p.m. on February 2 at Clifton Springs Hospital on Coulter Road. Investigators said the charge stems from an incident on December 8, when Morales intentionally damaged another person’s vehicle in the hospital parking area.
Authorities said the damage totaled $5,145.41. Deputies charged Morales with criminal mischief in the second degree.
Investigators took Morales into custody without incident and transported him to the Ontario County Jail for CAP Court, where he was transferred into county custody. Investigator Brooks-Lambert handled the case.
