Police are still investigating an alleged inappropriate interaction involving a guidance counselor at Geneva Middle School, following initial reports over the weekend, according to 13WHAM.
The Geneva Police Department says a student reported the incident to a parent, prompting an active investigation with the Child Advocacy Center of the Finger Lakes and the Ontario County District Attorney’s Office. Police declined to detail the allegation while the case remains open.
The Geneva City School District placed a staff member on administrative leave and launched an internal review, urging families to avoid social media while investigators work.
