A brief Instagram comment from Carmelo Anthony sparked buzz around Syracuse Men’s Basketball, according to CNY Central.
Anthony reacted during Syracuse’s loss to No. 14 North Carolina Tar Heels, posting a frustrated “SMFH” under a highlight clip. His son, Kiyan Anthony, plays as a freshman for the Orange.
Syracuse now sits 4–6 in the ACC and 13–10 overall, fueling concern the program could miss the NCAA Tournament for a fifth straight season. Anthony’s comment added a high-profile voice to growing fan frustration.
