Crowds are expected to roll strikes for a cause when the Family Hope Center hosts a Valentine’s Bowlathon in Waterloo.
The fundraiser runs from noon to 3 p.m. Feb. 14 at Sunset Bowl. Organizers say the event blends a casual afternoon of bowling with a mission to support local families facing difficult decisions.
Registration costs $22 per person. The fee includes pizza, soda, two games of bowling, and shoe rental. Participants can sign up as individuals or as part of a group.
Family Hope Center Director Jennifer Grace said the bowlathon offers more than just a fun Valentine’s Day activity.
“Whether you’re rolling strikes or sponsoring from home, your generosity helps us continue offering hope and support…one family at a time!” Grace said.
The Family Hope Center provides free, confidential, faith-inspired support to individuals and families navigating pregnancy decisions and other life challenges. Services include pregnancy tests, parenting education, life skills training, post-abortion healing, and ongoing relational support.
Grace said the organization’s work focuses on celebrating every life while connecting people with practical resources and encouragement.
Those interested in bowling are encouraged to reserve a spot as soon as possible. Space is limited, and organizers expect strong interest due to the Valentine’s Day theme and the all-inclusive registration package.
Participants can register or get more information by calling or texting 315-789-0708. Reservations are also available by email at familyhopecenter.director@gmail.com.
