Deputies arrested a man after investigators tied him to two separate crimes months apart.
Tyrone C. Walker Jr., 39, of Podger Road in the Town of Marion, faces felony and misdemeanor charges following a Wayne County Sheriff’s Office investigation.
Investigators said the first case dates back to November, when Walker allegedly stole a credit card and used it for several transactions. Deputies later connected him to a reported robbery attempt at the Kwik Fill in Lyons in December.
Deputies charged Walker with fourth-degree grand larceny related to the credit card theft. They also charged him with third-degree attempted robbery tied to the Lyons convenience store incident.
Sheriff’s deputies transported Walker to the Wayne County Jail, where he remained held without bail while awaiting arraignment, according to the sheriff’s office.
