The United Way of Cayuga County has canceled its annual Tim Morrison Mini-Golf Tournament scheduled for March in downtown Auburn.
The organization announced Wednesday that the 2026 tournament, set for March 19 at the Holiday Inn, was canceled due to circumstances beyond its control .
United Way officials thanked teams and sponsors who had already committed to the event, including businesses and organizations that planned to serve as hole architects.
Those recognized include Baxter International, Ferro Companies, Savannah Bank, Extra Mile Technology, Auburn Correctional Facility, Pinnacle Investments, The REV Theatre, Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES, EmCom, and the Auburn Fire Department.
United Way encouraged supporters to check its website and the event’s webpage for updates and future announcements.
The Tim Morrison Mini-Golf Tournament is one of several fundraising efforts that support United Way programs and initiatives throughout Cayuga County.
The organization said it remains committed to improving lives in the community through programs that address long-term needs and support local agencies.
