Officers first arrested Stephen C. Happ, 32, on Jan. 24 following a disturbance at a local residence, according to the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department.
Police charged Happ with two counts of attempted third-degree assault, two counts of resisting arrest, and two counts of obstructing governmental administration in the second degree.
He was issued an appearance ticket and released, with instructions to appear in Town of Seneca Falls Court at a later date.
Police later arrested Happ again on Jan. 28 in connection with the same Jan. 24 incident.
Following additional investigation, officers charged him with one count of attempted third-degree assault and one count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
