Chunks of brick fell from a six-story building in Auburn twice in recent years — but now that it’s repaired, it’s for sale at $1.1 million, according to The Citizen.
Built in 1927, the long-vacant property at 120 Genesee St. just had its scaffolding removed after a façade fix that cost the owners over $500,000. The California-based owners had planned a renovation backed by a $1 million state grant, but pulled back and quietly listed the building last year.
City code violations have been cleared, and the property is eligible for tax credits. A broker estimates full renovation could cost up to $9 million.
