A disturbance on Sly Street led to an arrest involving alleged violence and a child in the home.
Police arrested a 53-year-old Mauren Murphy on Jan. 8 after investigating a reported argument that turned physical.
Officers say the woman slapped another person during the dispute while a child was present in the residence.
She was charged with harassment in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child. She was taken to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
