A late-night disturbance on Howell Street ended with a woman taken into custody.
Police arrested a 36-year-old Canandaigua woman on Jan. 15 after investigating a reported altercation. Officers say the woman choked another person during the incident and tampered with their property.
Elizabeth Harvey, 36, was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and criminal tampering in the third degree.
She was transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
