A search for a missing rider ended in tragedy after deputies discovered a fatal crash in a snowy Livingston County field, according to RochesterFirst.
Deputies found Adam Curry, 25, dead after his snowmobile slammed into a barn on Smith Road. Family members reported him missing Sunday after more than 12 hours without contact. He was last seen riding trails and fields near his home in Portage.
Investigators believe Curry lost control while making a turn in a field during the early morning hours. The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation remains ongoing.
