A Town of Lyons man was arrested after deputies say he stole just over $11 worth of items from a local gas station. The theft happened early in the morning, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Joseph M. Gonzalez, 27, of the Town of Lyons, was charged with petit larceny following an incident at the Kwik Fill on Jan. 13. Deputies say Gonzalez stole $11.47 in consumable goods from the store around 6:26 a.m.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office investigated the theft and later arrested Gonzalez. Deputies issued him an appearance ticket, ordering him to answer the charge at a later date in Lyons Town Court.
