Music fills the room Saturday as local singers raise money for a rare Carnegie Hall appearance, according to 14850.com.
Members of the Odyssey Choir at Opus Ithaca will host a community fundraiser and silent auction from 4–7 p.m. January 31 at the Foundation of Light. The event supports the choir’s upcoming national festival residency and spring performance at Carnegie Hall.
The afternoon features live performances, group sing-alongs, and a silent auction with donations from local businesses like Cinemapolis and Buffalo Street Books. Tickets cost $40 for adults, kids under 12 get in free, and all proceeds fund the New York City trip.
