Police arrested a Penn Yan man following an altercation that left another person injured.
Penn Yan Police said officers took Reginald A. Storms III, 43, of Penn Yan, into custody after an incident in which Storms allegedly struck another individual in the face.
Storms was charged with assault in the third degree.
Police transported him to the Yates County Jail, where he was held awaiting arraignment for the purpose of obtaining an order of protection.
