Bills promote OC Joe Brady to Head Coach

Eight days after the Bills fired Sean McDermott, they are going in-house for their new leader in the locker room. According to Ian Rapoport, Buffalo made the decision to promote Joe Brady. Brady, 36, has been with the Bills since 2022 and has served as Quarterbacks Coach, Interim Offensive Coordinator, and Offensive Coordinator.

Brady is set to have a five-year contract, per Rapoport. Brady first made headlines in 2019 while a coach at LSU, notably being the brainchild behind the historic college offense that featured Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, and Clyde Edwards-Helaire. He then went to work with the Carolina Panthers before landing in Buffalo.

The Bills made the move official at 12:30 pm this afternoon.
