A full year of dinners, fundraisers, and community gatherings is on the calendar at the Sodus Center Fire Department, starting later this month with a popular roast beef supper.
The first event takes place Saturday, Jan. 31, with a roast beef supper at the fire station on Main Street in Sodus Center. The meal runs from 5 p.m. until sold out and is available for dine-in or takeout. Adult meals cost $20, with a $10 option for children 16 and under. Children under 5 eat free. The dinner includes roast beef, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, carrots, and homemade desserts.
The January supper kicks off a busy 2026 schedule hosted by the fire department and its auxiliary. Additional roast beef suppers are planned for Feb. 28, March 28, and Nov. 7, all starting at 5 p.m.
Other events include a chicken barbecue on Sunday, April 12 at noon, a Mother’s Day breakfast on Sunday, May 10 at 8 a.m., and a garbage plate supper on Saturday, June 13 at 4 p.m. A presale-ticket-only steak roast is scheduled for Saturday, July 18 at 3 p.m.
The fall lineup features an amateur rib fest dinner on Saturday, Sept. 19 at noon, followed by a harvest dinner on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 5 p.m. The year wraps up with the Fire Department and Auxiliary Christmas Party on Saturday, Dec. 19.
Department officials say more details will be posted ahead of each event. Proceeds support the Sodus Center Fire Department and its volunteers throughout the year.
