Village of Bath police arrested a Bath man following a lengthy investigation into allegations involving a child.
Police arrested Deven L. Miller, 31, of Bath, at about 6:22 p.m. on Jan. 9, according to the Village of Bath Police Department.
Authorities said the arrest followed an investigation into a report alleging Miller attempted to prostitute his 7-year-old daughter in exchange for methamphetamine.
Police charged Miller with criminal solicitation in the third degree, a class E felony; promoting prostitution in the first degree, a class B felony; and use of a child in a sexual performance, a class C felony.
Officers processed Miller and transported him to the Steuben County Jail for CAP arraignment. Police said he remains held without bail.
Investigators said Miller does not have custody of his daughter and confirmed the child was not victimized.
