Deputies arrested a Dundee man after responding to a reported domestic incident on Millard Street.
The Yates County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jacob D. Catlin, 35, of Dundee, at about 12:25 p.m. on Jan. 23.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded to a domestic call and began an investigation at the scene. During that investigation, deputies determined a separate incident had occurred about a week earlier.
Authorities said Catlin subjected another person to unwanted physical contact during that earlier incident, causing physical injury.
Deputies took Catlin into custody and charged him with assault in the third degree and menacing in the third degree.
Police transported Catlin to the Yates County Jail, where he is awaiting centralized arraignment.
The sheriff’s office said New York State Police assisted at the scene.
