Police took a Seneca Falls resident into custody Friday after locating a person wanted on a bench warrant.
Seneca Falls police arrested 38-year-old Leslie B. Meacham of Seneca Falls on Jan. 23.
Officers say Meacham had an active bench warrant for declaration of delinquency.
A declaration of delinquency means the court determined the person failed to comply with the terms of a prior sentence, often probation, prompting a bench warrant for their arrest.
Police transported Meacham to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where she was held pending arraignment.
