Syracuse woman arrested after Auburn Lowe’s larceny investigation

Deputies arrested a Syracuse woman on a petit larceny warrant tied to a shoplifting investigation at an Auburn Lowe’s store.

Officers took Darsheilia D. Stroud, 36, into custody Jan. 8 at the Onondaga Justice Center on an arrest warrant charging her with petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

The charge stems from a June 2 incident at the Lowe’s store on Grant Avenue. Deputies say Stroud entered the store, took several items, and left without paying.

Investigators were able to identify Stroud with assistance from the Crime Analysis Center.

Stroud was processed at the Cayuga County Public Safety Building and released on her own recognizance following CAP arraignment.

She is scheduled to appear in Sennett Town Court on Feb. 18 at 5 p.m.
