A routine traffic stop early Saturday morning led to multiple charges, including a felony, against an Auburn man.
Auburn police conducted a traffic stop around 12:32 a.m. Jan. 17 in the area of Perrine Street and North Street after observing a traffic violation.
Officers identified the driver as Jonathan W. Rudl. Police initiated a DWI investigation and arrested Rudl at the scene.
Rudl was charged with driving while intoxicated, first offense, operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or higher, aggravated unlicensed operation, and improper right turn.
Police transported Rudl to Auburn Police Headquarters and later released him on an appearance ticket.
He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date to answer the charges.
