Winter visitors to the Finger Lakes will have two new reasons to hit the road this February as the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail rolls out a pair of brand-new seasonal events.
The trail announced this week it is launching Galentine’s Weekend and Pinch & Pour, two experiences designed to bring wine lovers out during the quieter winter months while showcasing Cayuga Lake wines in a cozy, interactive way.
Galentine’s Weekend is set for Friday, Feb. 13, and Saturday, Feb. 14. The event focuses on friendship and relaxed winter fun, offering a trail-wide experience geared toward girlfriends getaways, couples, or anyone looking for a laid-back Finger Lakes outing.
Ticket holders will receive a cocktail, spritzer, or mocktail at each participating winery, along with three additional wine tastings. Each stop will also feature curated “girl dinner” snack pairings, with offerings varying by winery and including items such as pinwheels, tarts, and charcuterie-style bites. Guests will also receive a souvenir coupe glass to take home.

The following weekend brings Pinch & Pour, running Saturday, Feb. 21, and Sunday, Feb. 22. This event leans into bold flavors with spice-inspired wine and food pairings designed for winter sipping.
Guests will receive one spice-themed wine and food pairing at each winery, plus three additional wine pairings. At every stop, ticket holders will collect a different spice jar selected to complement the featured food, creating a take-home element that extends the experience beyond the trail.
“Winter is a beautiful time to visit the Finger Lakes, and we wanted to create two new events that feel fresh, fun, and totally worth the trip,” said Katherine Chase, executive director of the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail. “Galentine’s Weekend brings the celebration, while Pinch & Pour is all about flavor. They’re both designed to make February something to look forward to.”
Tickets for both events are limited and available online. Organizers encourage guests to purchase early and plan their winery route in advance.
Participating wineries include Buttonwood Grove Winery, Cayuga Ridge Estate Winery, Hosmer Winery, Lucas Vineyards, Montezuma Winery, Sheldrake Point Winery, Six Eighty Cellars, Six Mile Creek Vineyard, Swedish Hill Winery, and Thirsty Owl Wine Co.
