The Mega Millions jackpot climbed to $250 million after no one hit the top prize Tuesday night, according to the National Desk.
The winning numbers drawn were 08, 47, 50, 56, and 70, with a Mega Ball of 12. The cash option stands at about $113.5 million if a future winner chooses a lump sum.
Mega Millions officials say the odds of winning the jackpot remain steep at roughly 1 in 302 million. If no ticket matches all six numbers, the prize will grow again for Friday’s drawing. Tickets cost $5 and drawings run twice weekly in most U.S. states.
