Investigators are asking for the public’s help after a serious injury crash shut down part of State Route 14 in Schuyler County.
The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office said deputies are investigating a serious physical injury motor vehicle crash that happened around 3 p.m. Jan. 17 on State Route 14, south of South Genesee Street in the Town of Montour.
Officials said the vehicle involved was a black 2017 Audi four-door sedan with Pennsylvania license plates.
Deputies reported the car was traveling southbound on Route 14 from near the Village of Watkins Glen toward the Schuyler County–Chemung County line before the crash occurred.
As part of the ongoing investigation, the sheriff’s office is looking for additional witnesses who may have seen the vehicle or the crash.
