Taylor takes over as Seneca County manager

After months without permanent leadership, Seneca County filled its top administrative post, according to the Finger Lakes Times. The Seneca County Board of Supervisors appointed veteran employee Melissa Taylor as county manager through the end of 2029.

Taylor brings 17½ years of county experience and previously led Emergency Management for a decade. She had served as deputy county manager since August and will earn $155,123 annually under a four-year contract.

Supervisors also named Toni DiGiovanni as Emergency Management director after months in the interim role. Her contract also runs through 2029.
