A disturbance call led to the arrest of a Penn Yan woman accused of threatening someone with a weapon.
Police arrested Kellie M. Wagner, 31, on Jan. 9 following an argument that escalated inside a residence.
Investigators said Wagner kicked in a bedroom door and threatened the caller with a hatchet. Officers charged her with second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Wagner was processed at the Penn Yan Police Department and transported to the Yates County Jail to await arraignment and an order of protection.
