Retired town manager Peter Soscia isn’t leaving Seneca Falls just yet, according to Finger Lakes Times. The Town Board voted Jan. 6 to keep him on part time while officials search for his replacement.
Soscia will work up to 20 hours a week at $77.44 an hour until a new manager takes office. Supervisor Frank Schmitter said the town has received three applications so far, with interviews set for the week of Jan. 12.
The board also backed exploring a Bridgeport Visitors Center at the former Morehouse Boat Co. site, tabled a proposed police detective position, and moved toward appointing a new zoning officer.
