A Penn Yan woman faces weapons and menacing charges following a disturbance complaint inside the village.
Penn Yan Police arrested Kellie Wagner, 31, on Jan. 9 after officers responded to a reported argument involving a weapon.
Police allege Wagner threatened another village resident with a hatchet during an argument after kicking in a bedroom door.
Wagner was charged with second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. She was transported to the Penn Yan Police Department for processing.
Police later transported Wagner to the Yates County Jail to await CAP arraignment for the purpose of obtaining an order of protection.
