Deputies arrested a West Bloomfield man after investigating a reported hit-and-run crash in the Town of Victor.
Investigators arrested a 45-year-old man on Jan. 10 on a charge of driving while intoxicated following a reported crash at the intersection of State Route 444 and County Road 41, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said deputies responded to a report of a hit-and-run involving property damage. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
Investigators allege the suspect operated a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and fled the scene after striking another vehicle. Deputies later located him at his residence, officials said.
Deputies took the man into custody and transported him to the Ontario County Jail for pre-arraignment detention. He also received uniform traffic tickets for additional traffic offenses.
He is scheduled to return to Victor Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
