New funding is on the table for festivals, outdoor programs, and tourism projects across Tompkins County, according to Tompkins Weekly.
County officials opened applications for three Spring 2026 tourism grant programs, offering a combined $164,000. Community Celebration Grants support free public events, Tourism Advancement Grants focus on attracting overnight visitors, and Tompkins Outdoors Grants back recreation facilities and programs.
A grant workshop is set for Jan. 28 at the Tompkins County Public Library. Applications for all programs are due Feb. 26.
