A burglary alarm at a Gorham home led deputies to an underage party and an arrest Tuesday afternoon, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a residential alarm on State Route 364 and found several underage people inside the home, authorities said.
Deputies arrested Jakob Harry Halldow, 18, of Rochester after finding him and eight other males under the age of 21 inside the residence consuming alcohol and marijuana.
The Sheriff’s Office said the call came in around 1:58 p.m. When deputies arrived, they determined Halldow was responsible for hosting the gathering.
Investigators charged Halldow with one count of violating the Social Host Law, a local law offense.
Deputies released him on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in Gorham Town Court on a later date to answer the charge, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
