Shoppers across New York are being warned about several recalled snack products that could pose a serious health risk.
Karison Foods & Snacks Inc. announced a recall of five products after discovering an undeclared milk allergen during a routine inspection. The company says people with a milk allergy could face serious or life-threatening reactions if they consume the products.
The recall covers 12-ounce containers of Panjiri, Alsi Pinni, Punjabi Pinni, Besan Laddoo, and No Sugar Added Besan Laddoo. All affected products carry an expiration date of Aug. 29, 2026, and were distributed through retail stores in New York state.
The snacks come in clear plastic containers and are identified by specific UPC codes tied to each product. State officials say the milk allergen was not listed on the product labels.
No illnesses have been reported so far.

Karison Foods & Snacks urges anyone who purchased the recalled products to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
Consumers with questions can contact the company directly at 516-944-9000.
The recall was shared for public awareness by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets.
