After nearly two decades, shoppers won’t find open doors at the Aurelius Dick’s Sporting Goods anymore, according to The Citizen.
The store at Fingerlakes Crossing closed after its lease expired and was not renewed. Plaza documents already listed the 45,500-square-foot space as available, and signs now direct customers to other regional locations, including Destiny USA in Syracuse.
The Aurelius site opened in 2007 and anchored a retail mix that includes Home Depot and Kohl’s. Dick’s Sporting Goods did not comment on the closure, despite reporting strong nationwide sales growth in its most recent earnings report.
