Deputies were called to the Village of Dundee around 10:39 p.m. for a reported domestic incident.

While on scene, deputies determined Castle was in violation of an active stay-away order of protection.

Deputies took Castle into custody and transported him to the Yates County Jail, where he was held awaiting CAP arraignment.

The incident occurred in the Town of Starkey. Deputy Lane responded to the scene, with assistance from New York State Police.

Police remind the public that people arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
