Fresh snow turned Bristol Mountain into an Olympic training ground as three elite skiers worked runs ahead of the Winter Games, according to News10NBC.
U.S. Ski Team athletes Winter Vinecki, Derek Krueger, and Chris Lillis trained with young skiers at Bristol Mountain while preparing for the Milan-Cortina Olympics. They have four World Cup events left to secure qualification.
Lillis, a Pittsford native and 2022 Olympic gold medalist, said returning to Bristol lets him reconnect with the mountain where he learned to ski. The Winter Games air Feb. 6.
