Seneca County LDC set to vote on leadership and contracts

A packed agenda will put leadership roles, service contracts, and next year’s meeting schedule up for action when the Seneca County Local Development Corporation meets next week.

The SCLDC will hold its annual and regular board meeting at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 8 in the Lyons National Bank Community Room in Waterloo.

The meeting includes several required annual actions. Board members are expected to vote on a sweeping annual resolution that reaffirms policies, elects committees, and names officers for 2026.

That resolution also covers appointments to the audit, finance, and governance committees. It sets leadership roles such as chair, vice chair, secretary, and treasurer.

Contracts and strategy also sit on the agenda. The board will review proposals from Pronexus for accounting services and MRB Group for administrative support. Members will also continue discussions on selecting a consultant for an economic development strategy.

The board will also consider adopting its 2026 meeting schedule. Updates on the Willard project may be discussed if new information is available.

The meeting is open to the public. An executive session may be held if needed before adjournment.
