A mother is facing serious charges after her teenage son died during a fight over a cell phone, according to the USA Today Network.
Police say 16-year-old Ca’hry Gibson jumped onto his mother’s car during an argument on Oct. 10 in Rochester. Surveillance video shows the car accelerating before Gibson fell onto the street. He died from his injuries nearly a month later.
Aneka Connor, 38, was arrested Dec. 30 and charged with manslaughter and two other offenses. She’s being held on $35,000 bail and due back in court Jan. 5.
