A late-night traffic stop in Macedon led to an aggravated DWI arrest early Dec. 28.
Deputies arrested Mynor E. Hernandez, 28, of Ryder Road in Newark, following the stop, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said a deputy stopped Hernandez around 1:40 a.m. during an investigation in the Town of Macedon.
Deputies allege Hernandez failed field sobriety tests at the scene. Investigators later administered a chemical breath test that showed a blood alcohol content of .22%, more than twice the legal limit.
Authorities charged him with aggravated driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated under common law. Deputies also charged him with failure to keep right, moving from a lane unsafely, and operating a motor vehicle without a license.
Hernandez received traffic tickets and was released. He is scheduled to appear in Macedon Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
