Classrooms turned into hubs of creativity and connection as Geneva Middle School hosted its annual Wellness Day, according to the Finger Lakes Times. The day-long event focused on students’ physical, social, and emotional well-being.
Now in its fourth year, the program featured 33 sessions led by teachers and community volunteers. Students chose activities ranging from crafts and cooking to mentoring younger children and giving back through service projects.
School leaders said the goal centers on building relationships and exposing students to local role models. Organizers described the growing event as a way to strengthen community ties and reinforce a sense of belonging across the school.
