Deputies arrested a man after responding to a report of a stolen wallet from a parked vehicle at a Farmington apartment complex.
Investigators later identified the suspect as Jason D. Ward, 35, of Farmington.
Ontario County deputies responded around 8:56 a.m. to a larceny complaint at the Farmington Apartments on Mertensia Road, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said a wallet had been taken from a vehicle parked at the complex. Officers were able to identify and locate a suspect in the area, and the wallet was recovered.
As a result of the investigation, deputies arrested Ward and charged him with grand larceny in the fourth degree.
Authorities transported Ward to the Ontario County Jail, where he was held without bail pending further action in the Town of Farmington Court.
