A drug raid in Lyons led to an arrest and the seizure of crack cocaine and multiple illegal firearms.
Deputies arrested Antwan Terry, 38, of 101 Water Street, after executing search warrants at multiple homes in the town. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said investigators focused on properties on Church Street and Water Street after receiving tips that 46 Church Street served as a drug supply location.
During the search of Terry’s Water Street residence, deputies found more than an ounce of crack cocaine and three handguns. One of the guns was reported stolen, and two had defaced serial numbers.
Prosecutors charged Terry with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree for possessing more than a half ounce, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree with intent to sell, three counts of criminal possession of a weapon with a prior conviction, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree for defaced firearms, three counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, and criminal possession of stolen property.
Authorities took Terry to the Wayne County Jail for CAP Court arraignment. He remains held pending a future appearance in Lyons Town Court.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said it received assistance from residents of Lyons, New York State Police, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, the Geneva Police Department, and the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
