DWI arrest follows stolen food complaint in Seneca Falls

Police arrested a man after officers investigated a reported theft involving a food delivery on Christmas Eve.

Jonathan Tohafjian, 33, of Seneca Falls, contacted police around 7 p.m. on December 24 to report that someone had stolen his DoorDash order. During the follow-up, officers determined he had driven while intoxicated.

Police charged Tohafjian with driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content over .08 percent. Both charges are misdemeanors.

Officers released Tohafjian on an appearance ticket. He will return to Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
