A routine traffic stop in the Village of Waterloo led to two arrests and the seizure of heroin and fentanyl, according to local police.
Officers pulled over a vehicle around 9:45 p.m. on Dec. 21 and discovered the driver, Leslie B. Meacham, was operating with a revoked license.
She was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree.
During the stop on Swift Street, officers saw drug paraphernalia in plain view.
They questioned passenger Casey Carragher, who gave police a false name.
Carragher was detained, and officers later found heroin and fentanyl on her.
She was charged with criminal impersonation in the second degree, criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
Meacham was released with a traffic ticket.
Carragher was processed and turned over to the Rochester Police Department on an active warrant from that city.
