Police: Waterloo woman jailed on contempt, stalking charges after sending 15K+ messages

Police say a months-long pattern of messages and phone calls led to an arrest in Waterloo.

Officers arrested Brittany Clink of Waterloo on Dec. 18 after an investigation found she repeatedly contacted a protected party despite a court-issued order of protection.

According to the Waterloo Police Department, Clink sent more than 15,000 text messages and made repeated phone calls in violation of a Class B Order of Protection.

Police charged her with criminal contempt in the first degree, stalking in the fourth degree, and aggravated harassment.

Officers took Clink into custody and secured her at the Seneca County Correctional Facility.

She is being held while awaiting central arraignment.
