Police say they found a stash of stolen property inside an Ithaca apartment after executing a search warrant tied to several theft cases.
Officers with the Ithaca Police Department carried out the search early in the morning on Dec. 24 at a multi-unit building on East Green Street. Inside, they found numerous items that had previously been reported stolen.
As of now, no one has been arrested.
However, investigators say they expect criminal charges as the case moves forward.
Police are in the process of contacting the owners of the recovered items.
The department also urged residents to report any suspected package thefts and avoid leaving deliveries outside overnight or in unsecured areas for long periods.
