Flames tore through a mobile home before sunrise, sending one person to the hospital with burns, according to The Citizen. The fire broke out around 5 a.m. Monday on Broadway Road in the town of Victory in Cayuga County.
Fire officials say the home is a total loss. Two people were displaced, and one was transported to Upstate University Hospital. Crews did not release the victim’s condition as of midday.
Multiple fire departments and ambulance crews from across the region responded to the scene. Investigators are still working to determine what sparked the blaze.
