Seneca Falls sets year-end vote on landfill deals

Seneca Falls will hold a special Town Board meeting on Dec. 29 to tackle major landfill-related decisions, according to the Finger Lakes Times. On the agenda: new agreements with Seneca Meadows Inc. that could bring in more money if the landfill stays open.

One deal would boost payments for treating landfill leachate at the town’s wastewater plant. Another would increase host fees paid to the town under a revised community agreement.

The board will also vote on switching vendors for its curbside organic waste program.
